Economy is the issue that candidates should address.
The issues that I feel the current presidential candidates should address are economy, budget, spending, and taxes. The reason is our country cannot be run without economy. We do aware that president do have power to spend, as long as legislative approve it. We can see what is happened during current president’s terms. He spends lots of money to defense and war. It seem to be unbalance and unwise with spending money. Our country now has lost money into deficit. Therefore, that is why I think the candidates should address economy, budget, spending, and taxes issues. That why will help us to see what is candidates’ plan for the future relate to economy. Of course, we do not want our deficit become worse. Economy issues also affect other issues like social security, welfare & poverty, technology, war, energy & oil, and more in our country. We also do not want to have a president that is not money wise, and have money balance brain instead. For example, in the future, social security may be one big problem due to more people are retirement, which is mean worker have to pay more tax. So, we may want president to spend more money on social security or find new system. Other example, conservative energy, government can spend money to automotive company to develop new energy-saver vehicle. That will save our money on import oil. Economy is the issue that candidates should address.
Compare Obama and Clinton. They vote many bills within two years ago. They oppose in 12 bills. Two bills Obama did not vote and a bill Clinton did not vote. Rest of them, Obama vote yes and Clinton vote no, or, Obama vote no and Clinton vote yes. Base on their vote, Obama do not tax cut, do conservation energy, less gun control, and concern about FEMA. Clinton do tax cut, do not conservation energy, and having control over gun. Remember it is from my perspective based on bill that they vote.
Now, this is from their “talking” as they are senators. Obama want to reduce deficit. He said that current budget and borrowing is unwise, he will use money for national priorities like homeland, improving schools, and providing needed benefits to veterans. Clinton’s issues of economy??? She also concerns about country’s debt. It also seems that she also want to reduce country’s debt.

It's undeterminable whether both candidates, Hillary Clinton and Obama, are speaking the truths, the only way we know if they do speak the truth is by seeing their actions. Sure, they may clean up Bush's mess, but who knows if they'll create another havoc in the office?
Anyway, their urgent priorities should be toward economy and cleaning up the mess that Bush made. After years of cleaning up and bringing economy in green state, he/she may focus on something else that's relevant to our citizenship and a brighter future not only for them, but for us also. They should address the public's opinion and take action based on population vote, not how they 'feel'; unless proven otherwise.
In my humble opinion, the one with the best lecture may win. Let's hope they just do not plagarize their lecture from their soon-to-be vice president of the United States. *cough disordinately* BushandCheney *cough*

Barack Obama still is number one.
